Imagine that Corey change his vote... a lot of vote note wouldn't make sense anymore

Of course it won't happen as VFX artists aren't allowed (thanks I can in my database use the correct term), but that show the "agree with" comment aren't too usefull for the screeners in the case of an opinion shifting...

I don't see how you can re-add incorrect info unless you remove it first. All he is doing is adding correct info per the rules to an existing profile that has incorrect crew members he shouldn't be penalized for it. The person who added it and the people who voted yes on the incorrect submission are at fault. He should be voted on his additions and not the existing info from previous contributors.

He isn't being penalized, the people who won't have the benefit of his corrections are being penalized.  However, I blame the screeners as much as the "no" voters in a case like this.

These were bbbbb's contributions notes to the profile in question:

Quote:
Studios: corrected company name Premire -> Premiere Picture, like written in the opening credits.
Crew: added Jason McKee a 2nd time, he's first credited as Visual Effects Supervisor. (then, under North by Northwest, as VFX Artist)

Caution! The changes were verified with a Region B release.

He added Jason McKee a second time to the profile, and stated very clearly that he was knowingly credited once as a VFX Artist. He didn't remove that when he should have before adding his correct single credited role.

I stand by the no vote. It was rightly declined for a good reason.

Bigdaddy:
In the interest of data consistency, and rule consistency kat is correct. Personally I disagree but we must have consistency else we have nothing. Personally I would and have used vfx because it is shorthand for visual effects but...I use them custom and wait. I refuse to be a part of the problem and shoehorn data which is appropriate on one hand but technically outside the ruled on the other. I havesaid before that I would handle such issues in a much more timely manner were it up to me but it'd not. I also remain convinced that open crew credits and wysiwyt is the answer and will end these things. Users need to be able to contribute solid data, as much or as little as they wish and on the other side they simply need to be able to select that data in which they have an interest in.
ASSUME NOTHING!!!!!!
