11. The Prestige(2006)
Interesting. The Illusionist almost made my list. They're both great movies, but I found The Prestige the lesser of the two. | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. Create fake parent profiles to organize your collection. | | | Last edited: by Mark Harrison |

There's 6 (if you include 2000 itself) which is more than 20%, a pretty high percentage if you ask me. Second highest in fact, with only the 90's being higher with 7 movies. bs' list includes no silent films -- check my list... I so wanted to include Battleship Potemkin on my list, but I couldn't decide what to eliminate... I haven't watched The General yet, maybe I should work that in this month since it made your top picks... | | | If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world. -- Thorin Oakenshield | | | Last edited: by Danae Cassandra |

| Posted: | | | | Battleship Potemkin is a great great film... I started with the "DID" premise... Desert Island Discs... to choose 25 DVDs I would take for an infinite stay on a desert island. And as much as I love movies with deep meanings, I am entertained by lighter fare, and will enjoy watching these flicks more than artistic films.
Yeah, I included three silents, all directed by and starring Keaton. I could watch 25 Keaton films to the exclusion of everything else. His importance as a filmmaker is unquestioned, but to me, his importance as an entertainer is unsurpassed. | | | If it wasn't for bad taste, I wouldn't have no taste at all.
