I've had a change of heart since then. IMO, what I find more interesting is your need to hunt up old posts/vote notes in an attempt to make a user look bad .

That wasn't my point at all, 8ball. Sorry if it may have looked that way.

My point was, that we're discussing the same things over and over again. For nearly every single topic we have an immense number of different threads by now. I'm not used to this "déjà vu" kind of dealing with problems. In my job, if there is a problem, it gets discussed and it gets fixed or at least well documented. It simply annoys the hell out of me to come here and see things discussed again and again that were settled months (or sometimes even years) ago. It feels so absolutely stupid to me. Man, I would love to see some kind of issue tracking system, where results of votes or discussions could be written down - like bug tracking for programmers.

Apology accepted.

And I completely understand and share your frustration. IMO, this could all be cleared up simply with the stroke of a pen by establishing strick criteria in the use of dividers in the rules.

Bak to the original question about "headers in end credits"

I think most of the "generic" ones such as "and," "with," "guest star," "special guest star," etc. should NOT be used.  These "headers" have more to do with how an actor is billed than they describe the role played.  Identifying someone as a "Basketball Dancer" in a header tells me something related to the program material.  That I'm interested in.  But if all the header says is "and" ... I couldn't care less.  I'm not interested in whether a performer was a "special guest star" or a "with" but I am interested to know if that performer portrayed a Hunter Morloch or an Eloi.

The use of "guest star," "and," "with," etc. is generally restricted to TV series -- but not always.  It's just not very informative except maybe to tell me how much someone was paid relatived to the rest of the cast.

PS:  My vote is "Something Else" because to me it depends on what is in the header.  So sometimes I would say yes, other times no.

Badges? We ain't got no badges. We don't need no badges. I don't have to show you any stinking badges.

And THAT is something we have no control over. And causes a lot of frustration all around.
