| Posted: | | | | For the "genre actor" this is not really easy to define a common name, because they use a lot of alias and for some of them "a lot" is not a big enough expression. This is some examples of some problematic common name :
Merci Montello : she acted in 3 features and never use the same name Space-Thing (1968) credited as Mercy Mee Erika's Hot Summer (1971) credited as Merci Montello The Single Girls (1974) credited as Mercy Rooney
She's credited on "The Bushwhacker", but since I haven't seen the movie I can confirm this.
Uschi Digard : 6 different alias from my collection (13 profiles), but she is listed with 59 different alias (it's on IMDB, so don't take it for cash)
Rene Bond : 4 different alias from my collection (12 profiles) and she is credited is some other with just accent variations for her name (René, Renée and Renee)
Just 3 examples to show that maybe it's better to wait before to make any corection to genre actor common name and keep it local at this time. |

| Posted: | | | | Quoting T!M: Quote: IMHO, the bottom line is that all this talk is very nice, but we need to get to work. With every approved cast/crew update, the "credit lookup tool" results will improve. I'm not one to boast, but I just checked, and I now have 5.671 approved contributions under my belt. I'd say I'm doing my share... Are you? The question was not directed at me, but my answer is this: I am and I will. And for the record I must say: Tim, you're doing a great job and I'm glad to have you on "my side". | | | Martin Zuidervliet
