Well since this is about bringing 3 'box set' items, I will 'cheat' somewhat and bring along 3 of my cases that hold 320 discs each. 2 will be all the TV series as most can be watched over and over and the 3rd will contain a selection of my favourite movies. This will give me 960 discs to play with and keep me occupied for a looooooooooooooong time!

Oh, yes - only a very small "cheat"

Or do your cases have an unique UPC? If so , you should contribute to the db

Well, the UPC would include the container number and my house number and box number and any other number you care to think of, so yes! I guess I should contribute!! The only problem is that the collection in this arrangement is not readily available and has no SRP to speak of!

Twilight Zone: The Complete Definitive Collection (28 DVD Set)
Homicide Life on the Street: Complete Series Megaset (35 DVDs)
Laurel & Hardy: The Collection (21 DVD set)

The last one is from the UK, so I assume my DVD player will deal with PAL & all regions.

84 DVDs ought to give me some viewing without repeats.
If it wasn't for bad taste, I wouldn't have no taste at all.

Thta's a tough one...let me think...

1. Donnie Darko (Original Cut - NOT the Director's Cut) as this is imho the best film ever made
2. Babylon 5 (Complete Box Set of all 5 seasons and movies) for being the 2nd best tv-show ever made
3. Twin Peaks (Definitive Gold Collection - Complete Series) for being the best tv-show ever made

cheers

1st I'd bring one of my favourite movies "The Last Samurai" so that I'd not loose the hope and, if I'd must die, at least I'd die with honour in that island.
2nd I'd bring the last series of "24" so that I'd know that I can do lots of stuff in 24 hours.
And finaly, I'd bring one series of McGuyver so I could maque a boat and a motor with only sticks, coconuts, and pineaples.

That's pretty easy:

1) Cast Away
2) Island Of The Damend
3) Zombie Holocaust (aka Island of the last Zombies)

Hehe, nice one. Mac Guyver could definitely proof to be invaluable in that situation

First two are obvious
1. The Dark Crystal
2. Gormenghast
now things get a bit tricky...
3. Danger Mouse (The Complete Series)... but I don't own that.  I think I'd need a comedy.  Father Ted would be an obvious choice, but then I'd have to choose which season.  I think I'd go for The Complete Series 3.  I don't think I could put Flash Gordon or The Fifth Element in place of a good Britcom (whatever I would end up choosing).
