| Posted: | | | | Sorry to ressurect this topic but what do we think would this apply to a dance double or would they be a performer and be included in the cast? |

| Posted: | | | | What about if they are uncredited (Of course with appropriate evidence)? I am thinking particularly about Marine Jahan in Flashdance. |

| Posted: | | | | I can't imagine there were two contributions today with Dance Doubles added so i presume this refers to my update to the Parent Trap (717951001092). Among other cast changes i added people credited within the cast list as Dennis Quaid's and Natasha Richardson's Dance Doubles.
Had they trailed the cast i likely wouldn't have bothered but since they were embedded i felt obliged to incorporate them. Lindsay Lohan's acting double was credited near the top of the cast list, on screen and in the profile. | | | Bad movie? You're soaking in it! |

| Posted: | | | | Actually a spooky coincidence I don't have Parent Trap but just watched a "Top 80's Movies" where they interviewed Adrian Lyne and he talked about Marine Jahan as doing all the dancing. Is it a disease? Because my first reaction was to see if she was credited on DVDP; then to search and see if it had been discussed before. | | | Last edited: by Graveworm |

| Posted: | | | | Really! That is a little spooky. Given how much Jahan did on screen i wouldn't object to a credit ... if i owned Flashdance. | | | Bad movie? You're soaking in it! |

| Posted: | | | | Ok, so this has popped up again. What is the friggin concensus on stunts being a part of the cast? I submitted a cast list for "Things We Lost in the Fire" which includes the stunt coordinator and stunt people at the end of the cast list (no spaces).
Was there a definitive conclusion? |

| Posted: | | | | Never. Enter. Them. Period.
They're crew, not cast, and as such, they do not belong in the cast list. |

The fact of the matter is that there's a risk of no-votes whatever you do, as everyone feels his own take on this is the right one. As long as we get no guidance from Invelos on the subject, it will remain a minefield. Basically it's "first one in wins": the original contributor gets to force his preference onto the master database, and any subsequent contribution trying to change it will most probably have overcome a few no-votes: some will succeed, some won't. Bottom line: until there's guidance from Invelos (just one single line in the cast segment of the rules saying "don't enter stunt people/coordinators into DVD Profiler" would solve this entire mess), there's no consistency in sight... |

| Posted: | | | | Tim and Martin are stating their opinion, but their opoinion is not the consensus that was developed. That is as I defined it for you. I appreciate their opinions but their opinion is wrong.

If there was some sort of a consensus during the development of the rules I would like to hear it from the man in charge, thank you very much. | | | Martin Zuidervliet
