This entry seems to have been pulled directly from the bio site I used. | | | If it wasn't for bad taste, I wouldn't have no taste at all.

That brings up another thought: Did she ever get her name legally changed to Zsa Zsa via the courts? I wonder because most police departments are sticklers about using someone's real name as opposed to a nickname or stage name. | | | John

I wonder because most police departments are sticklers about using someone's real name as opposed to a nickname or stage name. You don't have to go through the courts to change your name. She could have, and probably did, go the 'common usage' route. That being said, we have countless reports that tell us that 'Zsa Zsa' is a Hungarian nickname. Being a 'nickname', it doesn't get split into a 'first' and 'middle' name field. The entire thing goes in the first name field. This argument is beyond ridiculous. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom. | Posted: | | | | Perhaps ridiculous to you, but not to me. See how easy it is when someone found something. Unlike some I don't invent facts I can't confirm. Once confirmation is obtained, I am a pussycat. Just because Zsa Zsa is a common Hungarian nickname, Unicus, does not mean that she considered it or treated it as a nickname, the two have no relevance to each other. Skip | | | ASSUME NOTHING!!!!!! "Gabor, Zsa Zsa" at the bottom of the clapboard in her mugshot.
And that proves? James, if you had a mugshot taken the clapboard might say Profitt, James Lawrence. Nice try, though.
Skip It might say Profitt since my last name is often misspelled that way. It wouldn't say Lawrence though. The clapboard wasn't meant to prove anything. I just thought it was a funny picture. Quoting skipnet50: Quote: Quoting Skywatcher:

Zsa Zsa/Gabor it is.
Skip With all of the info produced so far, you find the label that an LAPD officer put on a clapboard as definitive? How does one police officer's interpretation of her name finally convince you more than a vote of your peers of (currently) 36-4? | | | ...James

Skip Zsa Zsa is not just a common Hungarian nickname. It is a common Hungarian nickname FOR 'Sári'. All the articles, that mention this, say she was named after the Hungarian actress Sári Fedák, who was also called Zsa Zsa. Further proof that 'Zsa Zsa' was a nickname she got in Hungary. Those are facts. I didn't invent them and they were quite easy to confirm. The fact that you can't see that says more about you than it does about the rest of us who saw that quite clearly. Btw, I didn't say it was ridiculous, I said it was "beyond ridiculous." | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
