This is the reason, why I did not insist in 50 is UK. Sometimes like here, there is only one UPC - and only one company producing a disc - but many covers using the same UPC/EAN for many locations. This is why the locality is NOT checked for the UPC being valid for the specific locality...
Do you have any idea why this has the British 'exempt from classification' wording and find-DVD describe it as a UK DVD with release date and RRP? These are all printed on, not stickers. |

Since Virgin had its headquarters in London, England, chances are that several, primarily EU intended releases, were distributed abroad to the U.S. and Canadian markets for example. Also, the other way around is not uncommon. Evanescence: From Fallen to Broken (4723654825541) OK, I think I understand the problem... a) When adding a new profile to your local database you can combine an European EAN number (13 digits) with the locality US. But when you try to contribute such a profile, then the contribution fails the check for this anomaly and the system refuses the contribution.  b) You don't know how the locality can be set, because it is not included in the edit profile dialog... There are two dialogs, where the locality can be set. The first option was already pointed out in the preceding post: When a new profile is added to the local database, you can alter the locality before the profile will be added. Evanescence: From Fallen to Broken (4723654825541) In case why you are wondering that this title couldn't be added to the Profiler DB, that most likely is because this is a bootleg, with a questionable EAN number (yes, 13 numbers) which give 0 hits on Google. The link on Discogs shows clearly that this is not an official release.
