This files includes headshots, which Imho are better than the ones included in v10. Why?
- better cropping (head only, but the whole head including most of the hair)
- better contrast (mostly less technical contrast which allows to recognize detail of the face)
- less makeup or role specific applications
- as naked as possible (no shades, no beards, no hats, etc.)
- shorter hair, to see the ears
- correct birth years (dummies for headshots not availlable, BY overlayed where no other BY needed in the same section - cast/crew)
- correct common names (common name overlayed where common name thread is conclusive)

Hi,
I checked the last update from AiAustria and saw that the image of Jack Bannon was not the actor who was in the Imitation Game.  I corrected it locally and am never sure what to do about something like this .  There was a substantial age difference in this case and even a guess at the birth year would be better than nothing.  I notice that when ever I update the database birth years are often removed.  I know this has something to do with the rules but it seems removing valuable information should be prohibited.  I recall reading something about duplicates but what kind of proof needs to be submitted proving that there's not another actor with the same name?

My apologies for not beginning my last post without expressing my thanks and admiration for all those who contribute to the database.  I'm a pretty casual user and previous attempts on my part to contribute where less than successful due to my unfamiliarity with the rules.
Rather than just do a blanket acceptance of an update I do compare and choose the image I prefer which is, I suspect, at variance with the rules.  I choose the image which for me is the most evocative of the actor with whom I'm familiar.  In the case of Jack Bannon I don't recall seeing two entries in the  update and just noticed the one and thought Javk Bannon was a much younger man.

The v10 delivers a Mark Smith (1959) which shows a photo of Mark Smith (1969) aka. Mark Rhino Smith:


... this entry should be deleted.

v10 delivers both Joel//McKinnon Miller and Joel/McKinnon/Miller (with two slightly different photos). Joel/McKinnon/Miller should be removed, since McKinnon Miller is the correct last name.

There's no proof for the 1978 BY. In the list of accepted birth years there are two links for proof. One of them is IMDB where's no birth year named and the other is a website which does not exist anymore.

Without any solid proof, which I can't find, the 1978 birth year should be deleted as well until there are multiple sources which confirm the 1978 birth year.

For now I think you should enter Adam Harrington (1972) (and other variants) and Adam Harrington without a birth year.
