| Posted: | | | | Quoting hydr0x: Quote: Why not look for a better headshot instead? Cropping and stretching an already bad low-res shot can't be better than googling for a higher res one you don't have to crop, can it? Do you really think I'm that stupid ? Before cropping a bad resolution image, I always search for a better one. But when I do not find anything better, I have no other choice than make the best image treatment possible to get the less bad image on screen ( cropping, but also B&W to replace ugly colors, getting rid of texts...) And I know how to repair bad images. | | | Images from movies | | | Last edited: by surfeur51 |

| Posted: | | | | This is one of the very few places where we have no fights, please let it stay this way. If someone does not like an update from another person, so be it, there are no rules with headshots, it is all personal preference cheers Donnie | | | www.tvmaze.com |

I for one am grateful for ANY headshot contributions, even if they don't match my own personal preference, since I'm sure there are fellow users for whom they are valuable. |

So no need to argue about that. Surfeur made his preferences for headshots clear, as does Dr. Killpatient. And in the end, everybody has to decide what to import or not. And "Leave existing" is a perfect option for all that don't want to spend hours of comparing but get at least some shots where they had none. |

| Posted: | | | | For those looking for better versions of their headshots, check out TinEye. It's like Google but for images and pretty damn spiffy. You can submit a URL or upload a photo and it'll try to match it with existing images on the web. It'll even find matches where your image is only part of a larger version or a color version where yours is a B&W or where one or the other is altered/rotated. | | | Last edited: by Dr. Killpatient |

I download each and load them in (if needed) after completing a new HSDB version. |

Here is my full database for those interested (about 600 MB). In future will post only updates.
File 1 is gone (Download Limit of 10 reached) could you (or anyone else) please reupload? +1 Have downloaded them all, but seems at one I got a downlad mistake, so I also need one (or all) again. |

And that's why I have written my preferences at posting my database. So it was clear before downloading what work can wait if the pereferences are different to mine. |
