So should the online be
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows / Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Edition: Collective Turtle Lunch Box Gift Set I notice you didn't mention what was on the front of the box, which is where the title is supposed to come from.
What's the point of asking what the correct title is when you're just going to do whatever you want regardless of The Rules?
Quoting TheMadMartian:
Quote: There is no front cover here, so there is no way to take the title from the front cover. The box has six sides -- front, back, top, bottom, left and right, so there is a "front" and it has a "title" on it, though it appears to be to no one's liking.
--------------- I personally don't care what the title is on-line. I am sure that I will not use what ever is decided upon here. The only reason I brought this here is to try to find what other people think we should do with he online.. If this is not the proper forum for this, I will stop (not really) I will contribute whatever is decided here, but in the end, it will not matter to me. | | | Last edited: by CharlieM |

Title: Collectible Turtle Lunchbox Gift Set Edition: Limited Edition
--------------- This is what I would enter it as, because this is correct. Quote: I could agree with that with that, or even something like,
Title: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Collectible Turtle Lunchbox Gift Set Edition: Limited Edition where does it say Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on the front of this package. Quote: Title: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turles / Teenage Mutant Ninja Turles: Out of the Shadows Edition: Collective Turtle Lunch Box Gift Set It doesn't even mention the film titles on the front, just "Both Movies on Blu-Ray" seriously people. I really am having a problem following the intellectual thinking in the forum lately. It's like what can we do to screw this database up even more than it is. |

Yes it does, if you look at the front cover of the cases containing the movie discs, and not at the extraneous package of the collectors item. My point was that the rules are clear for a simple movie disc in its case, not for gift sets. I have a DVD of The Mask (1994) that I got as the surprise gift at the bottom of a cereal box. Are you going to argue that I submit: Title: Honey Nut Cherios Edition: Family Size |

Yes it does, if you look at the front cover of the cases containing the movie discs, and not at the extraneous package of the collectors item. As a "box set", the "box" is not extraneous, but is that item whose front contains the title of the box set. Nowhere in the rules does it even imply that you may find the title of the box set on anything inside the box. Title: Honey Nut Cherios Edition: Family Size If you're arguing that we shouldn't profile this box set because it's a box of junk and not a disc then that's fine, but if we're going to profile it it should be done according to the rules. --------------- | | | Last edited: by scotthm |

| Posted: | | | | Would I be right in thinking that this is just a lunchbox set which contains the two TMNT movies as extras? And are the two movies just the standard two-disc editions? (ie, do the two individual bd boxes have bar codes on the back of them?) In which case, why not just go by the bar codes on the back of the two cases?
I'd understand the question if this was some kind of luxury BD box set which is going to live on your shelf forever. But are you expecting us to believe that you're going to be storing a lunchbox with your BD collection? |

But are you expecting us to believe that you're going to be storing a lunchbox with your BD collection? In answer to your first question...Yes it has the BD+DVD releases of the two movies. Yes, they individually have UPC's. They are the standard releases. Your second question, yes they will stay in the lunchbox and be on display with he rest of my collectible sets. Why wouldn't they. Now, I speak for myself, but why would I purchase the collectible, if not to display it. If I wasn't going to display, then I would have picked up the standard releases.... The point to this discussion...We always profile the release. This release is the collectible. We have rules to apply to the online. This one is odd, therefor the discussion. I jknow how I will do it in my personal DB, but that doesn't conform to the rules. So I asked for assistance. As usual, TOO many Sides. No giving any way. A typical discussion. I wonder why I try... |

I agree, it should be "Collectible Turtle Lunchbox Gift Set", I only added TMNT to the front to give it better human readability and better logical sorting. I would be fine with either option though. |

I have a couple Beer Can 6-pack horror sets and some other horror collections. Similar kind of deal as this TMNT set, where they're just repackaged DVDs all with they're own UPCs. In fact, probably similar to you, all my box sets stay together in whatever form they came. | | | Last edited: by 69samael69 |

| Posted: | | | | Wow. I stand corrected. I just thought you'd all have as much of an issue with space as me and would want things to take up as little room as possible. Sorry if I caused any offence.
In that case, the rules are pretty clear: DVD Title: Collectible Turtle Lunchbox Gift Set Edition: blank - there's nothing that I can see in the pictures to suggest Limited Edition as an edition
OR
DVD Title: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Edition: Collectible Turtle Lunchbox Gift Set
Both adhere to the rules (although a shot of the TOP of the box might be helpful - there appears to be writing on that too). |
