They only care how it works in their personal database. They don't care if it's correct. Continually voting no on a contribution trying to correct a profile per the rules should result in a permanent ban.
I prefer one profile per season and don't like disc level profiles (messes up my title count for cast/crew), but... I find it easier to just vote neutral, lock my profiles and refuse disc level profiles when updating my local. Then I just don't contribute anything on those, and everybody's happy. [/blockquote

this box set is actually 1 TV profile that is 9 years long. The individual disc 1 id of each separate season has all the other disc ids for that season attached to them as box set contents. So you have all the cast and crew for every episode of a particular season attached to Season 1: Disc 1 (and so on for all 9 seasons) So you have 55 discs ids crammed onto 9 disc id level profiles, no individual EAN/UPC on cases for separate seasons. And the no votes are because it's to much work to do 55 disc level profiles. And the Parent profile should have the 55 discs worth of info in it. But at this time is empty. | | | Last edited: by ateo357 |

| Posted: | | | | Going by the op we have someone wanting to do the disc level profiles and they are voting no to it siting the box set rules. Which do not come into it on this release. Their contribution is correct and should be put through.

The issue has been raised several times, but Invelos doesn't seem to care, and with the screeners largely just sleepwalking through the process, declining anything that's got a couple of no-votes, it becomes very hard to contribute something that, while correct per the rules, doesn't sit well with a large number of voters. | Posted: | | | | T!M is correct. There is a small, yet vocal, group of German users who have created their own forum and their own set of standards. If anybody tries to follow the actual rules, they will bully them until they conform or stop contributing.
For whatever reason, Invelos has decided to allow this. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. | Posted: | | | | Hi Guys, i'm am one of these ugly crazy german No-Voters. I want to tell you why i have voted with "NO". First of all: Has anybody of you take a look at these 55 new profiles? They are all full of mistakes ! Today we have 9 correct usable profiles. If we change them into this 55 new profiles of this contributor we will have crap. Have you the time to correct 55 profiles? I'm not !
Here are a few of this mistakes: 1. The region code of the discs change between ABC and B. Why? I don't know! 2. Every SRP is in USD and not in Euro! Why? It's a german release. 3. Every overview is in english and not in german! Why? It's a german release. 4. In nearly all of this profiles are the whole features missing. 5. Nearly the half of this profiles have the wrong YoP because the seasons have started in September and the second half of every season had his first release in the following new year. 6. The contributed cast is full of invalid and wrong BYs which will contaminate the whole local database with them. For example: Xander Berkeley (1955), Frank Welker (1945), Steve Bacic (1965), wrong BY for Wyatt Smith(1994) as Baby William and so on.
If he had contributed correct usable profiles i had voted "Yes" but in this case it's a clear "No" ! And by the way: I can't understand this silly german "Yes"-Voters with comments like "Perfect update. This is how it should be!" They have never ever checked this new profiles - like you ! | | | Si on n'a pas ce qu'on aime, on doit aimer, ce qu'on a ! |

| Posted: | | | | @MickySpoon: I 've used the us profiles with the same ids like the german discs. The region codings in "ABC", if this not in profile, ist an mistake and i will correct this. But i think the first contribution can accepted in this version. You can help me to correct this mistakes. You can write me a private message in german | | | Last edited: by Duncan MacLeod |

Swissfilm tells me in a pm, that is ok. BTW: Is it possible to change a vote? |

Neither is your voting comment correct: there is no rule for the title of the disc level profiles - most of the ones in my data base have Disc xx appended, but if you read the rules thoroughly the title for theese profiles should be the title of the parent box set ie. They have never ever checked this new profiles - like you ! the profiles I've seen have no changes to srp, region, overview, YoP . The existing profile's cast and crew are wrong with the addition of episodes not on the discs. and if the original contributor would have done it correctly there wouldn't be a thread right now. How about the parent profile that has no cast and crew, disc id's, only 9 of 55 discs in box set contents. How is that usable? The omission of 46 disc id's from the database and the parent. Seems to me that you have set your standards to low. | | | Last edited: by ateo357 |

It came out of me as I was really heated up because of all the senseless no votes that did not come in for a reason, just "because I don't like 55 profiles". Ignore it. Nevertheless I definitely need these 55 child profiles as the US box has, and I will not vote "no" because of a few minor mistakes like SRP in Dollar instead of Euro which can be corrected afterwards. |

For like over a decade (I think) these German users actually have their own forum, and they tend to get angry at German users who post here instead, because they have certain things they do for German only discs that don't adhere to the official Invelos rules. If you are ranting about theese German users, either name them or at least give an adequate example! This - from my point of view wrong - prejudgement does not help I don't post over there, but as far as I can see, there are no contradictions to the rules over here. There are some clarifications for users, who don't perfectly understand the English written rules and most of the quarreling around here is omitted over there. This could be a problem as far as contributors are not aware of some mine fields... But no reason for such statements. | | | Complete list of Common Names • A good point for starting with Headshots (and v11.1) |
