I running windows 7 on my desktop at home, can someone help me me understand why my firewall is blocking my phone app and unblock it. Which firewall? You need the settings section on how to allow a designated program through the firewall. There is usually a setting for which direction is OK'd, and you can set both. The main issue is finding out where that section is. |

The same settings in general should apply to Windows Firewall. "Known Programs" or similar designation and as DVDP Mobile. Or exceptions. You may even find it on a blocked list and have the option to make it a preferred program. Like I said, I'm not that familiar with Windows firewall. I hope this helped some. |
