Quote: This is a database for DVDs and BluRays No, it is not. Dvdprofiler is unable to store data for many sorts of DVD and blu-ray: games, music, GPS, all sort of files using programs as excel, word..., but it is perfect to collect movies data : cast and crew, country of origin, studios, screen ratio ... You can even get photo of actors and screen caps from movies. Definitively a movie database, and it is how I use it, though I cannot use it for my others dvds. I would be curious to learn how you collect data for excel files in dvdprofiler.
IMDb is not a database that I can use to collect my movies, since we cannot enter any personal information. I cannot understand how you can recommand it to sort, search and filter among your own collection. If you can do this, please tell me. |

| Posted: | | | | Then obviously "bien dit" would have sufficed. Merely quoting people without adding anything isn't exactly a clear way of communicating (apart from the fact that it - even in the most literal sense - adds nothing). | | | Last edited: by dee1959jay |

adds nothing . You mean like the last 6 posts in this thread (including this one)? In any case, I thank you for your continued interest....and I'll certainly do my best to spell things out for you in any future posts |

| Posted: | | | | Why do you feel the need to be sarcastic? There is such a thing as elementary politeness.
Originally, I was honestly trying to grasp what you were trying to say, and I couldn't find anything YOU said. Personally, in your place I would have just written something like "Completely agree with surfeur51" - clear for everyone. But I guess we're all different.
For what it's worth, I agree with you however that this thread is supposed to be about group dividers for novel names and that the last posts have derailed the thread. But I didn't start that. | | | Last edited: by dee1959jay |
