Do we use the context of the header Special Visual Effects by vifx and if so why don't we use the context of a header that says Additional Visual Effects by vifx as invalid? |

| Posted: | | | | I mentioned it because the common name list has him listed as:
John "DJ" DesJardin (8 confirmed, 1 unconfirmed, 1 invalid) Broken Arrow (confirmed by Kluge)
and that's incorrect. The rules say to list Digital Supervisors. | | | Marty - Registered July 10, 2004, User since 2002. | | | Last edited: by mreeder50 |

I know what he was credited as, my question was, why is that an invalid credit? I checked the rules and can't find where it is listed as an invalid credit. EDIT: Never mind. I did a search and found that, back in 2014, 35 people decided that it was an invalid credit. I guess that is the rule now. Yet another reason why I don't bother with common names and I edit my own profiles. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. That is why I posted additional whatever this year. It may change again and 35 people will decide additional individual credits are ok. I also asked why the VFX headers with Additional was allowed but got a lame answer. I guess it is pick and chose when context is viable. |
