So perhaps a better question is, what could we do with these? If I'm going to enter that information somewhere, it ought to be for a better reason than giving strangers an easier way to find me. As an example, if we entered our Facebook information, the program could (in theory) be setup to allow us to easily post reviews on Facebook. With facebook you can ask to become a friend. Most of us are using nicknames here, so it would be kinda hard to find person X on Facebook without knowing their real name. and even then there's probably one ore two John Smiths out there.
The question is: Just because I might enter my Facebook ID into my profile, do I really want everyone to know it?
It could be a setting in the Invelos Friendship settings, where I can already say that only persons X, Y and Z get to see my email address. | | | Karsten
