| Posted: | | | | I've seen differing opinions on what a "featurette" is in other threads. Some feel the phrase "documentary material" in the rules means any video document relating to the film. I think of it as "making of" material discussing or showing the process of creating a movie or detailing a subject related to the movie. In this case, I would include the trailer as an "other feature". | | | My DVD/Blu-ray Collection My Letterboxd Page |

| Posted: | | | | Since we are throwing dictionary definitions out there, lets use one that actually pertains to the discussion at hand... Featurette : a short film; especially : a short documentary film about the making of a full-length movie In the context of the program and rules, the item in question is not a featurette, it is an other feature...this also fits the standard definition of a featurette. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom. Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand. The Centauri learned this lesson once. We will teach it to them again. Though it take a thousand years, we will be free. - Citizen G'Kar | | | Last edited: by TheMadMartian |
