| Posted: | | | | When I select a DVD and then do Change UPC (from the DVD menu) the DVD it actually selects to offer me the 'change' seems to be pretty random.
The only way I've managed it is to filter out all other DVDs then Change UPC.
Anyone else getting this? | | | It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong |

Anyone else getting this? You have to run the Collection>Flags>Load Set>*.lst first so that it flags all the unconverted UPCs/IDs. Then highlight them one at a time in the left column, and use DVD>Change UPC to get the correct dialogue box. I had 26, and it changed each one without a hitch. Note: You can read the LST file with Notepad, but the entries are not in alphanumeric order. Just go by the checkmark that appears on the thumbnail picture in the list column. | | | John

Nope, brings up the Change UPC dialogue box but NOT for the DVD I have highlighted... and it changes each time I retry, seemingly randomly. EDIT/UPDATE: Did a Database Repair and now all is well... should have thought of that before! | | | It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong | | | Last edited: by Voltaire53 |

You need to add the first and last digits to the UPC. Profiler now uses the full UPC number. | | | My WebGenDVD online Collection |

| Posted: | | | | I tried to check the ID but Profiler didn't recognize the disc. I'll admit, I never did it that way before so I'm a little unschooled in the aspect. Any other suggestions or advice, I'd appreciate it. | | | I was wise once; when I was born, I cried - Welsh proverb |

Did you save the flag set after fixing the UPCs? If not, just go to Collection>Flags>Load Set> and reload the flag set. No, unfortunately I didn't save them. Reloading the flags will tell me which UPCs Profiler considered invalid at the time of the import. It won't tell me which ones it still consider invalid. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |
