| Posted: | | | | I checked my unvoted... under ''database' and my processed contributions. It's a bit odd. There are contributions still on the pending list with contribution dates of 18 and 19 September. Yet a contribution of mine of 20 Sept. was processed on 25 Sept and one from 24 Sept on 1 Oct.
In recent times processing delay was a week, but I am not sure it's getting longer or shorter.
Of course, with such a thing as the Bond box, everyone is hoping for a speedier process. But I am not Ken or a screener, so... | | | Eric

| Posted: | | | | Were the ones that got accepted faster new contributions to the database? I have found that many brand new titles get accepted in 24-48 hours... while updates and revisions are like molasses now. | | | -JoN |

Anything after the first submission usually takes 5-7 days, with shorter or longer turn around times occurring occasionally. | | | Bad movie? You're soaking in it! |

| Posted: | | | | A thing that also nerves me is, that I cannot have a child with the same Disc ID more than one times in my profiler collection. The Bond Box is a good example. I own older boxes and now when I download the new Box I get only the new childprofiles that didn't exist till now. The other filmes are already in other boxes. This should be changed by Ken, to be able to have all childs in any owned box, also when the Disc ID is the same. "Planet of the apes" is another good example, many boxes, but always the same Disc Id's.

There are ways around this. Often you can find the same disc ID in another locality. Or else you can convert them into manual profiles. You will lose some things like online covers and updates of course but it's better than nothing. | | | First registered: February 15, 2002 |

| Posted: | | | | I first want to say: "Thank You" to the party that created and uploaded the US/"A" ''Bond 50'' set information.
But I modified it a little bit, but no way to share my work.. So here is what I did ..I replaced the front cover scans with movie poster scans that I captured from "Google Images" searches.. I used the largest scan (hint: some times the largest / best image is not the first ones in the searches) for the movie that I could find and then resized to the standard size of 500pixels. While I know this is not the "Official" disc covers, since I had no way to scan the "BOOKS" pages, I like the end results.

That's what I'm planning to do locally as well. I don't like to have the same image for different movies. That said, shouldn't the UK online covers be of the inner book-packaging rather than the outer casing? There are two different front and back covers for about half the collection. Also, I'd submit them oriented vertically, not horizontally like the current images, because they end up being very small that way. | | | First registered: February 15, 2002 |

| Posted: | | | | I see a huge problem with the scans coming along. Right now if you own the BOnd 50 set, you have two different scans for it in the database, the titles that got released before have their old original scan and the ones not released have the scan of the new Bond 50 set. Locally I of course give them all the new scan. But sometime soon those new titles will also all get individual releases, and all of them will have to keep the scan of the Bond 50 set, cuz the rules says, first come first served, this will cause some small riot I think | | | www.tvmaze.com |

Think this will not be a problem when they sort individually. If they do, they will have an EAN Code and can be opened under this EAN instead of the Disc ID as now for the set.
