Windows Start Menu -> Run... Type: cmd In the now opening window type: ipconfig /flushdns and press "Enter" Close the window by typing "exit"
Retry to upload your collection. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

| Posted: | | | | I'm afraid that didn't work either. Edit: I was able to upload on this computer about a week ago without any problems. The only thing I've done since was to add DVDs to my collection. I haven't added any programs or done anything different than I always have. | | | Last edited: by Kathy |

Quote: Kathy, have you had Windows check and see if there's a problem with your connection?
If you have Windows 7: go to Network and Sharing Center, and then Troubleshoot problems. If it says everything is fine though...then your internet connection probably isn't the problem.
I did this and the internet connection isn't the problem. perhaps bypass your router and go wit hthe straight cat 5 connection to your modem... and to clarify- You do have internet connection? just this one area of concern only..? or are there others? | | | In the 60's, People took Acid to make the world Weird. | Posted: | | | | I don't use wireless - I'm connected directly to the internet.
As far as I know the only problem I have is the inability to upload or download profiler. |

Without knowing your machine much better all we can do here is giving vague shots into the dark. The correct solution might one day be among this, but I wouldn't hold my breath. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

I sent a support ticket but I have a feeling I'm just going to have to wait until I get my other computer. The computer I'm using now has gotten old and ornery. Thank you for all the suggestions. |

( Anyone want to use remote assistance peer to peer PC tinkering ..?? ) .... I last uploaded my collection, on this computer, Aug. 21. As for the last suggestion - that sounds way too complicated for me. I have no idea how to do anything but the basics on the computer. | | | Last edited: by Kathy |
