- IMDB has Alien Factor 2 listed under the first James Bell, but I confirmed it's a different actor, the same one starring in Stakes (2002) (see poster). Both films are low budget genre films produced in Maryland around the same time, with many of the same cast & crew so I'm fairly certain it's the same guy.
It appears this actor has only ever been credited as
Jamie Bell, and therefore it would also be his common name.

In Conclusion:1. The BY for UK actor Jamie Bell (1986) was originally contributed and accepted into the database because it was thought the common name of actor James/Jamie Bell (Battlestar Galactica, Smallville) was also Jamie Bell (as listed on IMDB).
2. After it was concluded in this thread that James/Jamie Bell's common name was in fact James Bell, the 1986 BY for the UK actor was deemed invalid.
3. However, there is in fact a second actor with the common name of Jamie Bell (Alien Factor 2: The Alien Rampage, Stakes).
So the 1986 BY is VALID.
