| Posted: | | | | I own a few discs where I later bought a boxset that has maybe one of the releases already in it. I haven't been accepting child profiles (I like to keep it simple) but when I add a release for which I own a boxset also containing it, it automatically adds it as a child profile. How do I stop this? |

| Posted: | | | | You can't. You will have to remove it locally. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. | Posted: | | | | Yes, but then when I add the single release after removing it, it goes straight back in. Personally this seems like something that could be fixed easy enough but I like to have my collection list the releases I own without automatically linking it to a box set. No biggie though, if it can't be done I can live with it |

when you edit the profile there is a box set tab. go to this tab, select the title(s) in the box on the right screen and select remove from box set (think thats how it goes, don't have the program available at the moment)

Skip Whereas you and I have been around long enough to not be affected by the wrong terminology the programme uses, there are plenty of newbies out there for whom it's confusing to have the programme and the rules use conflicting terminology, especially if English is not their native tongue. I definitely recall having had to explain this to various less experienced users over time. A programme fix should not be that hard to accomplish, as far as I'm aware, so I'll continue asking for it. I feel that anything that will help less experienced users to make mistakes in their contributions should be implemented - to the benefit of the overall quality of the Invelos database. |
