What I suspect is that the page is displaying the < character but when followed by any other character, the browser thinks it is an unknown HTML tag. The default behavior is to ignore unknown HTML tags. Adding a space after the < character tells the browser that this is not an HTML tag.
The real fix would be to translate < to < behind the scenes but until then, < should be used to allow <Firestorm> to display as such. So <Firestorm> |
