All profiles with only 1 (or even 0?) owners would bear some scrutiy to establish whether they are bogus (the profiles, not the owners). I know that as I've been auditing my collection I've found two bogus profiles. I'm not even sure how they got into my DB in the first place, but both were for DVDs I've had for a long time and I believe were part of my initial add. Both told me that the UPC could not be verified when I went to edit them, (because both profiles were very incomplete). However, when I entered the actual UPC there was a nearly perfect profile for both. I'm guessing when I first added them those profiles didn't exist and I added by title...it's the only thing that I can come up with. One was for the Tartan Asia Extreme release of The Maid, but I don't remember what the other was. | | | If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world. -- Thorin Oakenshield |

One was for the Tartan Asia Extreme release of The Maid, but I don't remember what the other was. I've ran into a couple of these as well. Most everything seemed to automatically add the first and last numbers to the UPC's, but a couple have been unknown after I audit then a perfect prfile existed as well. I can't recall which titles this was though as I've audited so many of late, the old profiles got deleted from my local but are probably still in the db. If I recall I'll mention em to see if they can be removed. |
