| | Posted: | | | | I wasn't sure if the opening- or endcredits are leading so I've checked the rules for that. The rules say the endcredits are leading. So in this case Streets of Blood should be listed under Curtis Jackson.

| | Posted: | | | | So after pulling out my Boiler Room dvd and doing internet research, I can confirm that song writing credit is both legit, and wrong. See for yourself, I grabbed a screen while looking:  So that should be "Curtis Jackson" with the writing credit. The song wasn't put out by 50 until 6 years later, although there was an unreleased album with the track the same year as the movie (2000). Maybe not written for the film, but it certainly debuted there. His credit for 8 Mile is for the song Wanksta, which was released on a mixtape prior to the film, making that one wrong all the way around. |
