It's so boring.., and 99.9% are Yes for the italics .. Can this be done faster? or should I just leave it for others to do?? Take a break from it man. Like many other posters here, I like to take the opportunity to review for spelling mistakes, missed italics, etc. by checking my cover against the proposed change. But I can't do it every single day, and I am getting at least a dozen a day to vote on. We are a community, we need to trust (on occasion) that other users in this community are just as anal as we are. At times, I just have to make sure the kids are fed instead :-). |

IMHO this is an invalid red arrow and should be removed! BTW: I give a green arrow if somebody finds a typo in my contribution. | | | Thorsten | | | Last edited: by kahless |

| Posted: | | | | You don't get PMs from me because I blocked you months ago after a series of particularly abusive messages from yourself!
Your submission violates this rule:
Copy the overview from the back of the DVD case exactly as written, including capitalization of words exactly as shown on the back of the case.
So please explain to everyone here how this:
It should be "The Triangle of Light". Also TOMB RAIDER is a different colour and italicised but not bold. No documentation for publisher.
Warrants a red arrow? |

Skip Were you looking in a mirror when you typed that? edit: I just noticed I've got a green arrow for this post. Whereas I do appreciate the support, I don't think it deserves any. Please keep them for more deserving posts. | | | Last edited: by northbloke |

| Posted: | | | | It absolutely does not warrant a red arrow. They should only be used if the user breaks any rules not because the person doesn't agree with what they've said. Pointing out spelling mistakes should be done otherwise you would be introducing bad data & isn't that we're supposed to avoid? |

| Posted: | | | | That was my point in another thread. Because the contribution system is being overwhelmed by submissions, it's up to us to be extra-vigilant to make sure no mistakes get through. Because if the screeners are to miss anything, it will be during a busy time like this. |

| Posted: | | | | I'm sorry, Skip....but I'm with northbloke on this one.
Of course ALL data has to be correct - at least to the best of our abilities. Normal errors not withstanding.
You, of all people, should know better.
If someone spots an error in your contribution they have two options: vote NO and give a reason or send you a PM to explain in greater detail. And I know from experience that a PM doesn't always get a response. I sent one recently pointing out a bunch of errors in a contribution. It was ignored; and I had to submit corrections - which caused more work for Gerri. If the person had made the corrections Gerri would only have had to screen ONE profile
Also, there is nothing in the rules that states a PM is required.
Why didn't you simply corrected the errors and resubmit? | | | Last edited: by Pantheon |

| Posted: | | | | Ok Skip, you say that the no vote was Quote: CLEARLY against the rules. Can you show us which part of the rules it breaks because I for one can't see it. Quote: All voting should be based on support of these Rules.
* If a user is following the Contribution Rules and his/her data is accurate, and the contribution replaces data which is inaccurate or violates these Contribution Rules, a "No" vote is considered an abuse of the voting privilege and should be avoided when possible. * Conversely, voting "Yes" to a contribution which violates these Contribution Rules should also be avoided. * Include a reason for any "No" vote that you cast in order to provide useful feedback to the contributor (and the Invelos Reviewers.) * "Vote stuffing", or voting more than once for (or against) a contribution with more than one account is a serious violation of voting rules. This includes bypassing safeguards to vote for your own contribution. Violations will result in immediate loss of voting ability. |

You do an exceptional job of derailng threads. And bringing in various issues that have nothing to do with the issue. You made a comment about me beiung abusive, I think if the Community is honest with themselves, uour posts as i have pointed out repoeatedly are abusive and combative consistently. When you decide to act like a gentleman please let me know, I don't carry grudges, but right now I am far too angry with your BS. I am glad that you have nothing better to do with your time than feed a grudge, for me it talkes too much energy.
Fingers crossed but not really hopeful. Please...surprise me.
