| Posted: | | | | I agree, I guess. I just wish there was a differant way!Maybe a specific thread people can make their own choice to use the confirmed name or not.
I dont know I only know I would like to be accurate and have an accurate database also, just not the time. |

I just think its a little unfair to people that want to be accurate and have a legitimate database but may not have the time to do the leg work. I would not say things like that. There are people who want to have a database which properly links actors. But for that, they cannot follow rules, which are not appropriate for many cases. So they do not contribute, and their work is only for them. I think some would be happy to contribute, as they did before those rules were so rigid. So if there is a problem with people not contributing, why to refuse to discuss rules ? | | | Images from movies |

All I know is that I'd rather spend my time linking together ACTUAL name variants than having to mess with something purely stylistic as the presence or the lack of a space. |

I fully understand your point of view. I just think that as long as rules will say that Francois Truffaut or Mei Melancon are correct, we'll have many people that will not take the time to build stupid profiles only to have the pleasure to contribute them. | | | Images from movies |

Don't pay too much attention to most anything Surfeur says. He uses every opportunity he can to continue his incessant whining about how the rules discriminate against French users because, according to him, they can't understand them. This is yet another example of his whining. | | | Another Ken (not Ken Cole) Badges? We ain't got no badges. We don't need no badges. I don't have to show you any stinking badges. Looks like the same space if you can call it a space, from AN from PETER FONTANA, T!M has us allready measuring spaces that are not there! | | | Sources for one or more of the changes and/or additions were not submitted. Looks to me that the space between the dot and the R is much bigger than the space between the B and the dot. The problem is that a space is not a character in typesetting. It is the gap between characters which can be of variable width. |
