| Posted: | | | | I scanned the cover images here at home on my scanner. I added the cast myself. I'll delete those if that helps get it approved. On another entry, I added a Best Buy link for Asia: The Definitive Collection cd/dvd and that got declined, but that's another topic. Some kind of 3rd party database list would be helpful, because, by that token, no sites can be used for reference. | | | My one wish for the DVD Profiler online database: Ban or remove the disc-level profiles of TV season sets. It completely screws up/inflates the CLT. FACT: Imdb is WRONG 70% of the time! Misspelled cast, incomplete cast, wrong cast/crew roles. So for those who want DVD Profiler to be "as perfect as Imdb", good luck with that. Stop adding UNIT crew! They're invalid credits. Stop it! |

| Posted: | | | | I just looked at the listing on your collection site... The only thing I see that is wrong per the Rules would be the title... Rules says to only use the colon (:) for dividers... so it should be...
Friday Night Lights: Bonus Disc: Wal-Mart Exclusive
With Walmart Exclusive in the Edition field.
But I wouldn't think that would be enough to decline it. So I would think it is a combination of that and possibly the notes you used.
In your notes you want to write out not only what you are changing (or adding for new submissions) but where the info came from.
So I would think if you change the title to go per rules and expand on your notes you should be ok. If the cast info did not come from the credits removing them or documenting them with added uncredited box check would need to be done as well.
As for using sites for info... basically what we have is If it can come from the disc it has to... if it is for a field that you can not get from the DVD itself (SRP, Release Date and so on) you can use outside sources... but must have multiple sources to document the information. | | | Pete |

You're soaking in it! |

Very true... I forgot about this rule... Rules Quote: Quote: Do not list actors and crew who appear only in special features, or whose scenes were deleted from the main feature, even if they appear in special features. So that could very possibly be the reason for the decline right there. | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | It got approved! Dunno if the keep case item did it, or what, but success! | | | My one wish for the DVD Profiler online database: Ban or remove the disc-level profiles of TV season sets.
