| Posted: | | | | Quoting Giga Wizard: Quote: the FRIENDS collection consists of 10 seasons on dvd, not for sale anymore at this time. IMHO, what other 'Friends' DVD's there are does not impact how we handle these three. Of course everyone can do locally what they want, but for online purposes, I don't think the fact that the full ten seasons of 'Friends' are also available on DVD changes how we look at these three discs. |

That would be 'Friends: The Complete TV Series" Or "The One With All Ten Seasons" (UK) | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

But "Friends" is always written that way, just as "M*A*S*H" has a certain Layout. | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

It's like "The Criterion Collection". Or - to remain closer to the original question - "The Slayer Collection": FaithAngelXanderWillowDawnGilesCordelia | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

| Posted: | | | | the fact is you would have twice the same information in the title: Friends and Friends collection 'The Slayer Collection' Slayer is additional information not in the Title field. Friends: it is from the series (and verry prominent on the cover) The One With All The Birthdays would be equal to Spike, Angel, .... The One With All would be the common nominator for those dvd's, it is al ready in the title. | | | Sources for one or more of the changes and/or additions were not submitted. | Posted: | | | | The Edition is clearly "Friends Collection".
I can't see how anyone could try and argue against it. | | | Paul |

| Posted: | | | | Oh man, I am the OP. I had no idea it would be so difficult to figure this out. I thought I'd pretty much get a quick consensus, but now I see that my original confusion is well warranted. And the person that I thought would give me the strongest opinion, Skipnet50, has been rather quiet about this.
As for what Giga Wizard has been pointing out, there are of course quite a few Friends Collections (compilations) including The Best of Friends series and the The One With All the Parties gift set, but these 3 are the only titles that say "Friends Collection" on the cover. Sigh, still don't know what to do, and don't want the profile to keep bouncing around with updates cause future people view the rules applied to this differently. |

| Posted: | | | | C'mon - you didn't expect this community to agree on something did you? Seriously though, the general feeling seems to be that #4 follows the rules, but if you really wanted to, you could probably get away with #3 as that doesn't exactly "break" them. |
