at least until Ken decides one way or another on the request you could do a couple different things. You could use the notes field. Or you could do an html window. The only thing with this is that you would have to do all the work yourself... it is not something that would be be able to contribute. But I think contributing such info would be difficult at best since you would have to give multiple sources on this type of thing when contributing.

But I find html windows works great for things not already in the program. See below an example of the one I use for TV Series episode guides.



So maybe something like the above but listing the cast/crew with whatever notes your would want to have? I know it is not exactly what you are looking for but if nothing else it puts the info into profiler and if enough people like the idea maybe you can share the info with other the way we do with the episode guides (see my sig file).

Skip, READ the request. He wants to add notes to an actor, not to a movie profile. Adding notes to a profile is not the solution to this request.

I think my biggest want now is this automation with downloading child profiles. You never know!

Oh God, if i had to start listing my wants for the program...eeeegads. I guess my current top would be better definition of Features. The auto-downloading of children is nice but i think there are bigger and better things that should come first. Just my opinion.

Like maybe some place to indicate titles of featurettes -- as part of the better definition of features.

Or maybe somewhere to indicate who participates in commentaries.

To me, either of these would be much more useful than fleshed out actor biographies/notes.

Not really.  You asked for a feature, we're saying that we feel other features would be more important to us.

I don't want to jump on a newby, but for someone who only registered here 2 days ago, you've already posted 8 different Feature Request messages  -- some of which are similar.  I think it's a little presumptuous to expect messages to fit your narrow definition of what's "on topic."  If you think this discussion is "off topic" just wait until you've been around this forum a while longer and you'll see what is REALLY off topic.
