Update :
The Database error wasn't related to DP in any way, it was a Plugin ( CCV ) and i needed to create a database for the plugin. However after creating a DB i am still unable to create a backup due to the "Engine Error #8708" The problem with your backup is most likely related to your plugin/s. Try starting DVD Profiler while holding down the CNTRL, ALT, shift keys. This will load it with the default settings. Try performing a database backup. If that doesn't work, try uninstalling any plugins. | | | Last edited: by Telecine |

The backup i have has all my profiles in it but i have recently changed all my boxset so the children would have thier own separate profiles . I didn't know when i began using DP that it was supposed to be done that way. In addition i have added covers scans to many titles that the DB didn't have but didn't submitt to DP DB as i always have something wrong wtih my submitions so i just don't submit. Too many changes to use the previous backup, any other time would have been no problem as i always backup even if i only add 1 DVD title. Telecine: I agree with you completely, its T Gaines's plugin that started all my issues. If i choose to do a backup without cast and crew photos it's no problem. How do i remove a plugin, i don't see in DP of any way to remove them. Thank You Update: We'll i held CNTRL + ALT and DP loaded up and it showed no plugins being installed. However when i discoved that they could be removed in add/Remove Programs i couldn't uninstall them because it said they were still running. I closed DP and then they removed fine. Still getting engine error #8708 at 18% of my backup. I asked if ken responds because as a programmer he added the error message in the software for a particular situation. This is a refrence for something that he would know about. I'll keep trying all communitys ideas though and i really appriciate your time . | | | My collection PHPdvdProfiler Custom edited ( Matrix theme )

They show up there and can be uninstalled like normal software. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

| Posted: | | | | There is a file that all the photos of cast and crew members are stored in. I tried to rename file ACTORS.BLB as i felt the photos may have been in this file, but it's not. I beleive that headshots V3 was about 300MB. If i could delete the photos file then this may allow me to do a backup and then reinstall headshots V3. | | | My collection PHPdvdProfiler Custom edited ( Matrix theme )

Now that you have uninstalled the plugin try doing a database repair. If that doesn't work. Install DVD Profiler again and try that. Just install it over the top of your existing installation. | | | Last edited: by Telecine |

(I think you can choose to not do the headshots - I haven't got the program at work) | | | Paul |
