| Posted: | | | | Everything I've shown was revealed in the past season's finale (aired May 1, 2007), and on the already-released box set of season three (released as region 2 in September 2007 and region 4 in November 2007). If you are not up to date, do not blame me.
Those of you in Europe/England/elsewhere seen capable and willing to discuss TV series which have yet to be aired in the USA without feeling you are giving "spoilers".
The only part from season four was one name of one Cylon who has a number of names...
If I were to discuss plot & characters of already-released DVDs of other TV series/films, would that be considered spoilers? I think not. Region 2 has had this DVD set available for more than half a year now. Waiting six months to watch it is not my fault. | | | If it wasn't for bad taste, I wouldn't have no taste at all.

| Posted: | | | | I agree with VibroCount, i dont see much problem with spoilers. Unless the topic deliberatedly says no spoilers. As if i follow a serie / movie i dont read topics of it before i've seen it. Had to stop using 2 whole forum, when Serenity came out in US. But i think people who have seen the shows should be able to discuss them. |

| Posted: | | | | The problem is this thread started off as a discussion about how to credit Sharon Valerii. So it's conceivable that people would click on this and not expect any plot discussions. If this had been in "general discussion" then fine - but it's in "contribution discussion" and so people wouldn't expect to see this sort of stuff. I don't follow this series but DJ Doena starts one of his posts with "According to 4x02" and I know that series 4 hasn't started over here yet. So if he has revealed something from that episode that other people wouldn't know, then it is fair for them to feel fairly disgruntled.
Edit: not that I'm trying to blame Karsten for doing anything wrong. | | | Last edited: by northbloke |

It would have been nice of you to exclude any pictures and write a warning "Possible Spoilers ahead" Is it too hard to be respectful of fellow users? |

| Posted: | | | | Personally, I don't care much about spoilers - anything depending on big reveals is just bad drama. But the cylon identities were obviously a big deal for both the creators and the fans of the show, so posting them here without any warning is very thoughtless, to say the least. | | | Matthias | | | Last edited: by goodguy |

The models were all known for a long time (at the end of season 2 all 7 were revealed - i didn't mention any of the Final Five). The only new information was the number of certain Cylon model series and that's hardly an information at all. | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

It would have been nice of you to exclude any pictures and write a warning "Possible Spoilers ahead" Is it too hard to be respectful of fellow users? The information I provided was from season three, which finished airing on the Sci-Fi channel and availble on the web since May of last year. Fine -- I'll delete it all, in respect to you, and you alone, in that you seem to be the only person here who has not viewed the May 1, 2007 telecast. It seems that if you choose to not watch a show while it's on, and wait ten months for it to be released on DVD, then don't bother to watch the DVDs for a month, complaining about spoilers is... self-centered? When do I get to talk about Casablanca? When do we discuss the first Battlestar Galactica series? There might be people here who have yet to watch either... wouldn't that spoil it for them? Spoilers can only happen prior to the first presentation of a film or TV show -- after that, they are no longer spoilers, (deleted reference to being a spoilsport), but discussion. | | | If it wasn't for bad taste, I wouldn't have no taste at all.

The information I provided was from season three, which finished airing on the Sci-Fi channel and availble on the web since late May of last year. Fine -- I'll delete it all, in respect to you, and you alone, in that you seem to be the only person here who has not viewed the May 1, 2007 telecast.

This has nothing to do with WHEN!!! It has to do with WHERE and HOW. But of course, I should know better... This is the Invelos forum, the land of no laws, no courtesy and no common sense. |

| Posted: | | | | I'm gone. This is idiotic that I cannot discuss characters in an eleven-month-old episode of a TV series. | | | If it wasn't for bad taste, I wouldn't have no taste at all.

On the contrary, assuming that everybody in the world has to have seen a show because you've seen it (or assume that they are not intestered in watching it if they haven't seen it yet), that I would call self-centered. It's entirely up to Tarantino to decide when he wants to watch a season of a show. Until then, a spoiler is still a spoiler, in as much as it spoils the pleasure of watching an unseen show. Spoiler: Information within a story that can reveal plot points for possibly unseen episodes of television shows, books, comics or movies. | | | -- Enry | | | Last edited: by White Pongo, Jr. |

| Posted: | | | | I have to agree with Vibro. It is rather odd that people are jumping on him for posting about a plot point that the majority of viewers (maybe not the majority of people here) saw 11 months ago. How long should spoilers be tagged as such? | | | Chris |
