Just to give you an idea of the clients they are looking at.  They are building one in Redmond, WA (near Seattle).  Redmond is the home of Microsoft and the area is the home of companies like Bungie (Halo) and Valve (Half-Life).  There is a lot of money in that area.

W0m6at, I have also been to what is Gold Class in Austrlia and did have choc-tops and popcorn.
And for the record the only two times I have been to these cinemas that I can remember off hand   were LOTHR: The Two Towers    & Star Wars: Episode 3 
Of course the big thing is no kids with mobile phones and ipods ruining your Cinema experience.
Also must point out there are also similar setups with the other chains like Hoyts and AMC.

Except for the valet parking (and it's not necessary), we already have the Living Room Theater in Portland with everything mentioned in the article. When I go to the movies, it's with my kids usually.  We catch a matinée and at our local theatre (not a Cineplex or other BIG theatre).  Matinée seats are all $6, as opposed to the normal Cineplex prices of $9.25 each, or a SilverCity theatre at $10.95 each.  At some of the BIG movie premieres, they often times have prize packs.  When we went and saw Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, my son won a movie poster and a book collection (the first 4 HP books).  We've also won swag when we went and saw Shrek 3, The Chronicles of Narnia and others.  If anyone happens to be in the Hamilton, Ontario area, I strongly suggest to check them out.

In order to conserve the "almighty dollar" we have to  watch where we go.  Granted, moved are delayed maybe a week or two, but who really cares?

Now you can see why we opt for our little local theatre.  Besides, it's only 2 blocks from our house.  We usually time it so we can go next door (around the corner) and bowl a game of 5 pin first.

Back to the poll, $35 for a ticket???  Are you f'n nuts??  That would make the cost $140 + concessions!!!
