I have a tip for you (although you might have figured it out yourself): Look for an error or missing data in those associated profiles, correct or add that and contribute them. This way users who did not know about the image updates will be informed once the profile changes are accepted. | | | Martin Zuidervliet

If, in the event you cannot find any erroneous data, put an extra space at the end of the overview. Besides I also think the screeners will not approve this kind of behaviour. In the event you can not find erroneous data, I think it's better to look for missing data like common and/or credited as names, features or easter eggs, as those are generally neglected. | | | Martin Zuidervliet

None of that data would be cause to decline a Contribution. let the poor guy learn the BASIC first. Then he can move on to more advanced subjects like Alias system.

Quote: Why are my Profile contr. declined, because I've just contr new Covers and no Profile data? Yes, there is only the cover as contribution. The cover get's approved, the contribution gets declined. It did not happen in the past. For instance, on Jan 31 I submitted a cover image for E.T. (Italian release), no other changes, and I got both Image and "Profile" approved: Profile Contribution Approved Feb 3 2008 1:57PM Image Contribution Approved Feb 3 2008 1:57PM | | | -- Enry |

I've been trying that all along Martin, but the problem is that many of the profiles are pretty much fully audited. I guess I'll just have to look harder to find some errors... Meanwhile, here's a few more where the images were approved but the profiles declined. I may as well list them here for anyone interested: The Hills Have Eyes (013131-257793) Lightning Bug (013131-356199) The Bird with the Crystal Plumage (827058-200899) ***after tonight's database update. | | | Corey |

Quote: It did not happen in the past. Correct, for me it all started on Februari 22, 2008. The same here. It started around 02/17/2008. Until then "Profile Status" and "Image Status" got status "Released" for approved image only contributions. Since then 23 out of 37 approved image only contributions got status "Declined" for "Profile Status" and nobody gets notified that there are new images available in the database. At least the images are in the database. | | | Best Regards |

All these had profile declined image approved. Now all released except for 101 dalmatians I only submitted image for all these. |

| Posted: | | | | The issue has been corrected and we've reprocessed affected image acceptances. We've also performed a mid-day database release so all affected images (about 1100 total) will show as updated immediately. | | | Invelos Software, Inc. Representative | | | Last edited: by Ken Cole |
