Sad man that I am.... (hey... that rhymes)

I just installed the new beta of Internet Explorer, and boy... is it processor heavy

Also, it "slightly" breaks the site, nothing major, just something for Ken to watch out for.

Just posted this for info

Note, whilst running in IE7 mode, the processor relaxes, and the site is fine

IE8 Beta 1 is much better than IE7, IMO.

Invelos looks fine to me using IE 7 mode.

It (8) is also faster than 7.

I prefer Firefox and the main advantages over IE are the search by typing option and the search boxes in the right corner. But the plug-ins make it invaluable; I have my home page set up for SpeedDial so I can just click on any one of 9 regularly used sites, and I have a brilliant one called NoScript which blocks javascript, period, unless I allow a particular site through. Even then NoScript blocks ads because they're coming from another source, so even if FF is fundamentally slower, NoScript speeds it up again.

I use and love NoScript as well. It's a bit tedious at times to allow the servers to execute their scripts, but I feel a bot safer that way. Never thought about the speed improvements, good point.
