You only see the submissions for the profiles you own or have in your wishlist. So even with a very large collection any given user only sees a small sample compared to the overall number of contributions.

I hadn't thought about using it like that, but yeah, that should work. And yes, you can vote on profiles only present in your wishlist. Every so often there's a submission on stuff I have in mine, and I always vote neutral.

Often their DVDs don't have titles in English and their region is different than ours, but they're still part of the same database. The contribution notes have to be in English so the screeners can understand what's going on. The contribution itself doesn't have to be. I.e. the overview, etc.

To see non-region 1 profiles just click the button to add a new DVD to your database, select the Add by Title tab, and then change the Region drop-down menu to display Any Region. You'll see plenty of foreign stuff.

In fact, out of the 337,000 titles currently in the database, only 130,000 are from region 1, so a vast majority of the profiles in the database are from regions other than North America.

you realise of course that you need to have loaded the profiles up to the online database and the system uses THAT list to decide which updates to show you.

Yes ... I do realize that I would have to enter it in my WishList and then upload them to be able to see the one that is being updated.

I just did not know that you could do that. I have read questions about certain DVDs that I do not have and wished I could see it so I could understand what they were talking about. Now I know I can do this.
