Duuuude, I didn't know they had HD-DVD/Blu-Ray combo drives out. This opens opportunities for my planned HTPC hooked up to an 1080 projector.... I have the xbox360 HD-DVD drive and a Sony Blu-Ray writable drive that I picked up at a good price when the local CompUSA was liquidating stuff around March of 07. I paid about as much as that combo drive. |

| Posted: | | | | I'd hoped to pick up something when my local CompUSA started liquidating a couple weeks ago. They had nothing in stock.
$300 for the combo seemed a good deal. Fry's had it for the same price but one had been re-taped shut and the other had no tape at all. | | | Bad movie? You're soaking in it! |

I was going to wait for the GGW-H20L but I found the GGC-H20L for $245 Canadian on Boxing day so I went for it. I expect the writer will be double that when they are available. Only problem is Profiler is on my old computer so I'll have to move it to the new computer to read disc IDs. | | | Tom. |

Skip that would be awesome... however... it would cause quite the contribution rush... and a lot of hard work wasted. | | | -JoN |
