| Posted: | | | | I have yet to give out a single Negative vote, and I really haven't been giving out positives either. I think during the trial weekend was about the only time I gave out any votes, maybe a few since then to posts that have been helpful to me. I'm pretty lazy when it comes to the reputation system. | | | Chris |

Edit: IMHO the reputation system has many room for improvement! I was tempted to drop a red arrow on a no vote the other day, but it was so blantantly wrong and obivlious (the no vote) that I just laughed at it instead. I am noticing a trend of 1 no vote, saying things like "original scans are better" or "mine looks like existing" (after pointing out existing were reissues) coming from the same user. His 2 no's are offset by 65 "yeahs" and 2 approvals so I haven't done anything yet, but think I will PM him about this before doing anything else. I think he's just new and has a bad monitor, or is looking at the wrong side of the screen, as I don't recall his name from anything/anywhere else. So far I've only given out maybe 5 votes, all positive, and all for what I feel went above and beyond normal forum chatter. My votes aren't cheap or easy, but anything helpful will get one. Not sure what it would take to drop a negative as I'm pretty thick skinned and nearly un-offendable. Un-called for no votes on submissions that feel vindictive might be the only thing (you're safe 8BallMax, I know you don't hate me and just have sharper eyes than the average user ). | | | Last edited: by bigdaddyhorse |
