as soon as one is set to approved it is released that very night... every single night... no matter what day of the week it is.

Yes. And it has been that way since Invelos' day 1.

Actually, in the first 2-3 weeks, we could get as much as 5 or even 6 updates A DAY.

None today , (Friday),, so Tuesday it will be..

I don't know why you are not getting updates... I know I do every day. And Ken himself said they are released daily in this thread.

Q:What other changes are there for contributions in 3.0?
The biggest change is the new requirement for a paid registration in order to participate in the contribution system (submitting and voting).  Although a paid registration is no guarantee of a higher quality of submission, it does allow us to effectively prevent fraud.

The next biggest change is the switch to daily database updates.  At midnight, US Central time, the database updates will release automatically.  Additionally, the 2-day waiting period no longer applies to new profiles, only changed profiles.  During the first week of launch, we expect to generate intraday updates as well.

So if you are not getting them... it seems to me there might be a problem somewhere... because as I said... I know I get them daily.

OK... So I got three updates today ( Sunday),, If I waited till Tuesday I might have hade close to a dozen. BUT three here will still illustrate my point. and that point is, You can't update unless you unlock the locks. once it is unlocked, the images will come forth..
You'll notice there are no tick marks in box unless the dvd has been edited.
Here are seven screen examples to illustrate:

In the 60's, People took Acid to make the world Weird. Now the World is weird and People take Prozac to make it Normal.

Terry, just double click on a title you want to verify the updates to, then you'll see your local profile on the left, versus the online one on the right.

At the bottom of this window, there is a "Partial Accept" radio button, that will activate the checkbox for each section that has changed, whether you have locked it or not. Just put check marks where you want, and click ok. The changes you ticked will then be accepted, without you having to manually unlock anything.

GOT it...

Since I already updated today and dont want to wait till 'Tuesday'.., I backed up data base to a different name and then restored the other older one back to a day or three ago. I then was able to get a few new updates plus Todays, and sure enough there was that little radio partial accept button that allow certain tick boxes to be use for the current new ones.

It worked pretty good.  So,,  you see,  even after 5 years of what you think you are doing there is and are little extra features you'll never see if you don't look for them.

Oh and as a side note, when you've checked the boxes you want for the partial accept, if you hold the CTRL key when you click OK, it will automatically load the profile comparison screen for the next one in line.

Assuming you are using the latest version, of course.
