Is it "Disc 1" or "Disk 1"? Do we have a standard here? It's "Disk 1" on the envelope.
Besides, as I said, they are double-sided discs with two movies on each side. How about using film titles as disc description, in this special case, just like we do with Episodes in TV series?
For instance
Disc 4 Side A: Description: Captain Scarlet / The Last Chance Disc ID: 0C6AE07BBBC02911 [WAR_MPACK_DISC04A]
Disc 4 Side B: Description: The Buckwashers / This is the Army Disc ID: B3C45D4BDBBCE771 [WAR_MPACK_DISC04B]
and so on... Normal usage for CDs and DVDs is disc. That's what we use in Profiler. As far as disc description I would say Disc 01a and Disc 01b, etc. | | | John

and so on... Sounds perfect to me! I'd much prefer this over Rifter's suggestion, as your way provides more information. In many ways, having several movies on one side of a disc resembles profiles of TV series, where you would list episode numbers rather than disc numbers to indicate the actual contents of the disc. |

5. Overview. There are four movies in each double-sided disc. In the Overview section of each disc profile, I am copying the overviews from the envelope and also adding a few essential details (like Color / B/W and Production Year),
...and CoO... and aka's. For instance: The Adventures of Tartu (aka Sabotage Agent) A Rumanian-born British spy is dispatched to Czechoslovakia during World War II. He's hired as a chemist in a Nazi-controlled poison gas factory. With the aid of the Underground, our hero spends manages to dismantle the Nazi operation and then must figure a way to get out of Czechoslovakia as adroitly as he got in. The Adventures of Tartu was filmed at MGM's British studios. (UK 1943 B/W) | | | -- Enry | | | Last edited: by White Pongo, Jr. |

If more than one is on a side, it is just like a TV episode disc. If you look at such profiles, they show "Episodes 5-8" or something similar, NOT the names of the episodes as in "name/name/name". I misunderstood his question to some extant. In this case, the default "Main Attraction" is the appropriate description because you don't have room for the other, and because you can't use the TV style since these are movies, not episodes. | | | John

TV profiles do NOT list Disc 1a, 1b etc. as you suggested earlier. If there's enough room for the two movie titles, I would still prefer using these. In TV series profiles, in most cases there is not enough room for all individual episode titles. In order to do it exactly the same way as the TV profiles, you would have to use "Movies 1-2", "Movies 3-4" etc. As far as I'm concerned, that's second best. | | | Last edited: by dee1959jay |

Quote: Take a look at one called "John Wayne: 20 Movie Pack" in my collection. Do your 50 pack the same way, as the only difference is the total number of movies. Layout is the same.
I see the light!
Of course, I am doing a child profile per disc just because each side has more than one title. Were they double-sided discs with only one title per side, I would profile each side so to get the full movie data in each child profile. But, as I can't do that, there would be no advantage in side profiling. | | | -- Enry |
