Now if Isaac Asimov had created the character, then I could see him getting created twice, once for "Original Characters By" and the other "Original Material By." | | Posted: | | | | FYI: this update has been approved by the screeners (despite no-votes, I might add). So in this particular 'Bicentennial Man' profile Isaac Asimov is now indeed credited twice. Note that I can't argue the fact that a double credit is indeed redundant, it also doesn't do any harm. It's just "as credited" - he's credited twice on-screen (see screenshot in original post), so he's credited twice in DVD Profiler.
Note that before my contribution, the profile already credited Isaac Asimov twice, once as "original characters by" and once as "original material by". Based on the actual credits on-screen, I really didn't think that was appropriate, so I changed it to two "original material by" profiles, rather then simply removing the "original characters by" credit altogether. |

| | Posted: | | | | It's not that stupid to credit a crew member twice if that's as credited. We also credit cast members more than once if they play the same role in different episodes. I just think it would make things clearer if we could add a discription to their roles like we can with cast members. The only way we can do that now is by using dividers, but they are not designed for this purpose.  | | | Martin Zuidervliet
