| Posted: | | | | Quoting Doc Martin: Quote: I gave disabling NAV and ZA a go, (and I always have the Windows firewall stuff turned off) and I wasn't surprised that it didn't help. I've never had any problems with them, and as I said in a previous post, when I first installed the new release of Profiler it worked fine.
It's a mystery. Sounds weird, I'm running ZA and NAV under XP Pro without any problems and no problems with Profiler at all. I think the problem is not the Profiler but maybe the Internet Explorer?! Did you try to delete the Temp-files (manually and/or the ZA cache cleaner...) or did you try (as ultima ratio..) a complete uninstall (cleaning all reference files pointing to profiler) and a complete reinstall? Sorry - no better idea here; good luck! Edit: Did you try to change the skins? | | | Thorsten | | | Last edited: by kahless |

| Posted: | | | | I've solved the problem - for now at least. I use Firefox as my default browser, so I changed it to Netscape (which was the default till recently). The problem remained. I changed it to Explorer, and hey presto, problem gone. I then switched back to Firefox, and the problem didn't return. I'll see how long it stays that way............. |

I'll see how long it stays that way............. I believe you have confirmed that this is a browser issue and this sounds like a great solution to me. Ken, If you see this, it might be a good idea to investigate it for inclusion in the knowledge base. | | | Brian |

| Posted: | | | | I can confirm that this solution works! Had the same problem this morning after not having used DVD Profiler for a couple of months.
The problem is probably due to the insane amount of large updates Firefox released this year. It went from version 4 tot version 8 in just eight months. |

| Posted: | | | | i've been having this same issue and none of the suggestions have worked for me.
i use firefox 8.0 and dvdp 3.7.2 build 1444.
i haven't changed any setting in either program that would warrant this.
it doesn't keep either program from working "properly", it's just so annoying. |

(It is not just uninstall /reinstall - do everything exactly, including latest version of IE) | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Advanced plugins available here.
