| Posted: | | | | As stevegblair says, sometimes it's a lot easier to download a similar profile for the same film and edit it to match your DVD rather than create one from scratch. All you have to do is check the info is correct for your release. If you need any help in doing this, just ask! | | | Last edited: by northbloke |

| Posted: | | | | Getting a rejection without any attempt at an explanation is demotivating, and apparently citing the cover and taking the crew and cast from the opening credits is not good enough. Do we need to include screenshots and a picture of the keep case? (A cover scan is already included). And this is not about complicated situations with multiple movies on a disc, or BY's or whatever. Quite simple profiles, that everybody can extend, but someone needs to make the start. | | | Hans |

Your English is more than adequate for the forum, and you were never rude. Some people just assume that everybody has read all the forums before making any kind of contribution. And I do believe that the new rules for "new contributions" are overshooting the mark. Data from the actual disc cover should be good enough as a starting point, until an actual mistake is discovered. Or is that disc-covered? Very well said - thank you. Copain1998 I apprechiate the hard work that you put into your contributions - rules can be difficult enough to understand (and agree on!) in English, I can not imagine trying to do so in another language! Although I have been a paid member since I joined (2 years ago I think!) it has only been recently that I started to read and participate in the forums. I try to answer my own questions by going through the old forum contributions but that is difficult and time consuming. I also find that, due to my lack of computer lingo and knowledge, it is easier and more enjoyable to be able to discuss my issues, concerns, questions, etc. directly. If my inquiry bothers someone I would hope that they just ignore my questions or comments. I try to never be mean, impatient, or disrespectful and would like to be treated the same way. |

| Posted: | | | | Copain,
Don't let it get to you when they get declined, stuff happens. I just had 2 Child profiles in a set declined, and the other two approved, Note were good so was the data they both had 3 yes votes and 0 no votes, the other 10 in the series were approved. Just kind of messes up the Onlline database thou when someone else tries to download the children.
