But, on the other hand, not everything that is compliant with the rules has to be uploaded, you know. Sometimes it is better to leave things the way they are and pretend you didn't notice. Who benefits from this upload ? That's right: Nobody. People having this profile in their collection will not like the change (like me), other users won't find it in the title search (for example for putting it in the wish list). It is simply a pointless contribution to me. For me, Michael has hit the nail on the head, and thus I would have left it 'as is' | | | |

| Posted: | | | | Personally I was one of those who voted no as I felt that the change was not justified. The T2 was a marketing thing on the outside box and in my opinion the name on the inner cover is the one that should be used. It is also in keeping with the series to do it that way. Nowhere else is the name of the movie changed to T2.

| Posted: | | | | The rule for modified titles does no apply here because we have the same title for the DVD release as for the theatrical release. If I understand this thread correctly this title is written on the spine. Nowhere in the rules is mentioned that the title has to be written on the front cover. We have seen several DVDs where there is no title on the front cover at all. The only thing that we see on those covers may be a logo (e.g. batman). In this case we have a abbreviation on the front cover which serves the same purpose as the logo in batman. I would not consider this the title of the DVD. |
