Ugh............... Geez, talk about being a pessimist. Could you maybe have a positive attitude one time? | | | "I am Andrew Ryan and I am here to ask you a question: Is a man not entitled to the sweat of his own brow?
No, says the man in Washington. It belongs to the poor. No, says the man in the Vatican. It belongs to God. No, says the man in Moscow. It belongs to everyone.
I rejected those answers. Instead, I chose something different. I chose the impossible. I chose… Rapture." |

Could you maybe have a positive attitude one time? Are you kidding me? The way you've been ranting for the last three weeks, you actually have the nerve to post that? | | | Hal |

The way you've been ranting for the last three weeks, you actually have the nerve to post that? I'll give you that. Let's put all of that behind both of us, and move on. Invelos is back, 3.0 is back, and we all have a fully functioning program to play with. My apologies for the outburst. | | | "I am Andrew Ryan and I am here to ask you a question: Is a man not entitled to the sweat of his own brow?

My apologies for the outburst. I'm sorry, Ross, but this is not the first time that you've asked for forgiveness after literally raking IVS staff over the coals in an abusive and unconscienable way. People have to be accountable for what they say. Sorry doesn't cut it with me this time! That's just the way I feel about it! | | | Hal |

That's just the way I feel about it! I apologized to you for the snide remark I made. I issued no apology to IVS staff at any point - only to Ken, upon his formation of Invelos. I have no intention of apologizing for anything else. If "sorry doesn't cut it with you this time", so be it. I'm not going to lose sleep. | | | "I am Andrew Ryan and I am here to ask you a question: Is a man not entitled to the sweat of his own brow?

| Posted: | | | | I have never (that I recall) entered in one of those more "personally directed" threads. I will, however, make a small exception this time and reproduce the post I made yesterday at the IVS forums (itself an exception). The also exceptional situation we lived during the past weeks, I believe, justifies it this time. It shall be a one-time entry, but that accurately describes my feelings towards the situation. Although my support during this time was on Ken's side, I couldn't help noticing the (usual) disrespectful, uneducated and childish way with which some people (again, the usual) immediately started addressing the situation and both parties (IVS/Invelos) in a bashful manner, and screaming absolutely illogical demands towards someone that was involved in a legal situation. I hope that now, finally, we can have a fresh, stable restart, including also a totally friendly environment around. It'll be different from IVS as these forums will be moderated, but relying on the moderator to keep it that way is a bad principle (he has a lot more useful/important things to do). If my post doesn't seem to contribute for that good mood, my advance apologies, as I said, it's a one-time without example. My yesterday's post: [i] I'd like to take your lead to leave a big word of appraisal to Jesse. That let us hang around here, speaking of a competition product, and with several of the "gents" around referring to him in very unflattering terms. For doing what he was not forced to do (and that most wouldn't), my public thanks. For all of those bashing IVS/Jesse/Ken/Invelos/DVD Profiler, and jumping immediately to other softwares because 3 weeks was a long time for a judicial action... good riddance!
