In this case, the biggest question is whether an on set vfx supervisor is a valid credit and whether this is a credit we are really looking for. |

Indeed, and I tend to ignore those. So I would only enter the "Visual Effects Supervisor" credit, and leave it at that. But it's something that we're never going to reach a consensus on, I'm afraid... |

In this case, the biggest question is whether an on set vfx supervisor is a valid credit and whether this is a credit we are really looking for. Indeed A VFX supervisor is the person responsible for ensuring an optimal shooting of visual effects on set so that, once it goes to the post-production process, the completion of the project can be optimal. He is one of the most important profiles in the pre-production process as far as VFX is concerned, since he has to be aware of everything and collect all the necessary information to take it into account during filming. collect the material and then take it all to the final process in the VFX studio. The VFX supervisor has a function similar to that of the DOP on set, but transferred to the world of visual effects, that is, he is responsible for the correct realization and image capture in technical and artistic terms. In addition, he is the right arm of the director in terms of VFX. In the post-production stage, the VFX supervisor is the person most responsible for carrying out the production plans and making the decisions in the work chain and visual effects processes. | | | Updated List of Accepted Birth Years |

Victor Mueller: 1 confirmed Inglourious Basterds
Viktor Müeller: 1 confirmed Voyagers | | | My one wish for the DVD Profiler online database: Ban or remove the disc-level profiles of TV season sets. It completely screws up/inflates the CLT. FACT: Imdb is WRONG 70% of the time! Misspelled cast, incomplete cast, wrong cast/crew roles. So for those who want DVD Profiler to be "as perfect as Imdb", good luck with that. Stop adding UNIT crew! They're invalid credits. Stop it! | | | Last edited: by huskersports |
