No spoilers...though they were pretty good episodes...but it is not returning until 2008?!?!?! I just don't get how these networks can treat a series like this.
But at least the episode order got expanded to 22 eps! Where did you get your infos from, according to galacticastation, there will only be 13 episodes plus the 2 hour movie... |

| Posted: | | | | Great! Thanks to everyone for clearing this up. Just ordered the Complete Epic Series I still do hope for a release of Galactica 1980 at some point, I know its bad and it does not live up to the rest, but I remember highly enjoying it. So BSG 2003 will return in 2008? Damn thats a long time Anything about that movie being made? I hope we'll get to see some more Viper action than S3 offered. Also any news of potential HD or Blu-Ray release of Season 1 - 3 ? | | | - Life is just a form of animated death. |

Last week, SciFi Channel announced that BSG season 4 would be 22 hour episodes plus a Pegasus mini-series before season 4. But at least the episode order got expanded to 22 eps! Crap. I hoped they would go back to 13 episodes. To many filler episodes IMHO. They never had a 13 episode season, in either series. | | | John

| Posted: | | | | Personally, it pisses me off bigtime. They're milking it for all its worth.
'24' is as serialized as any TV show has EVER been, and its rating continue to grow. As long as they follow through and finish it, ultimately I don't care what their reasons are, but it would nice if they would be honest unfront for a change. | | | John

1.01: 33 1.13: Kobol's Last Gleaming: Part 2 Season 1 included the 4-hour miniseries. That makes it roughly equal to a standard season time-wise. I just checked my box set to be sure. | | | John

| Posted: | | | | Mini series is not part of season 1. History of Battlestar Galactica can be read at
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battlestar_Galactica
this snippet taken from that page.
Miniseries Main article: Battlestar Galactica (TV miniseries) In December 2003, the American Sci Fi channel broadcast a three-hour miniseries that reimagined Battlestar Galactica. This miniseries was so successful that Sci-Fi opted to develop this new, reimagined version of Galactica into a television series.
and unlike the US who received season two in two parts Season 2.0 and Season 2.5, the rest of the world received Season 2 in one box (set) of all 20 episodes.

There was a separate "Battlestar Galactica: Season One" released in the UK in a set separate from the miniseries. Plus, if you look at the back of the US edition, it says "Now, experience all 13 thrilling episodes of Season 1 and the four hour TV miniseries that started it all" (bolding mine.) | | | Build a man a fire and you keep him warm for a day.
