This is not true. Per the rules any individual credits are valid!
There was a thread in the rules forum with the intention to change this, but it the response was negative.

But we can not remove them, if anyone else adds them: adding them is perfectly covered by the rules. ... many things are written in the rules, which does not make sense for all of us.
