1. This isn't all he had written in his contribution. He had clearly said that his source was the original program and it wasn't. Yeah no, I get that, I meant in this thread he clearly stated he just took it from the U.S. profile, which lends theory to the fact that the U.S. profile has incorrect information in it. That's all I was getting at. That someone should take the AMAZING work you've done (seriously, can't praise you anymore for the effort you put into that!!) and put it in the U.S. profile too. That way we'll know it's ACTUALLY correct (instead of just being told it's correct), it'll have documentation, and a thread like this won't have to pop up again. Quoting AESP_pres: Quote: He continue to play the child by not removing his actual contribution and taking this way the chance to see my correct contribution erase by his. Of course I hope that it will be used to correct the other region dvd for this film. Your contribution came after his. If anything, yours will erase his, so no worries about that! I too hope that this above and beyond effort by you will make it's way into other profiles! I believe I'm even going to unlock mine when your contribution gets approved!! | | | The night is calling. 3. John Gielgud CLT 215/799 vs. 29/71 for Sir John Gielgud (both contributions have him as Sir with no credited as). Cedric Hardwicke CLT 99/235 vs. 53/148 for Sir Cedric Hardwicke (both contributions have his as Sir with no credited as).
Didn't understand this one immediatly... I haven't change or check anything in the credited cast, since I can't confirm it with the disc. But you are right they have to be listed as Joe Blow credited as Sir Joe Blow. |

Well according to the first few pages of this thread that is all that is talked about., The cast from this so called program guide that was eventually found and copied in what appears to be notepad... | | | In the 60's, People took Acid to make the world Weird. Well according to the first few pages of this thread that is all that is talked about., The cast from this so called program guide that was eventually found and copied in what appears to be notepad... I think you have missed the point. Your contribution notes say that the cast you are submitting came from the souvenir program and the R1 US profile. That is not a true statement. Based on that, and the fact that AESP_pres has contributed one that does match the documentation, the right thing to do would be to withdraw your contribution. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. | Posted: | | | | Not yet since the one actually in the database had all its uncredited cast removed. The one I've made by using the period documentation is in the contribution processus so it won't be available normally untill next week. But if you want it now Achim contact me by PM and I will send it to you where I usually post my profile at dvd collectors. |

| Posted: | | | | Just to let you know that my profile contribution for the canadian locality (085392-863228) had been accepted and released today So if you want to use it to update the uncredited cast list for the other localities profile you're welcome to use it. Just copy the contributions note for your contribution in place of just writing "copy the canadian profile already accepted in the database". Just that will prevent a lot of future argument. Take note I haven't change anything else and according to Merrick those common name are incorrect : John Gielgud CLT 215/799 vs. 29/71 for Sir John Gielgud Cedric Hardwicke CLT 99/235 vs. 53/148 for Sir Cedric Hardwicke | | | Last edited: by Jimmy S |

| Posted: | | | | Another thing to be aware of is that David Niven is actually the 10th credited actor (after Harcourt Williams), and Edward R. Murrow's onscreen credited role is "Prologue Narration".
So please, don't just do a copy and paste.
** edited to add:
Also, if someone is going to update the US locality profile, be aware that the Original Title of this film is "Around the World in Eighty Days" per the end of the closing credits.
